Hays Regional — High School:
Eleven Skyline High School students combined their science knowledge to compete with eleven other Western Kansas schools participating in the Hays Regional contest on February 15th. This was the largest number of students we have had participate for several years, and we only had six open events. As a team, they finished in 7th, one place away from qualifying as a team for the Kansas Science Olympiad. “Thank You and Congratulations!” to these students for their commitment to challenging themselves, taking risks, and exploring new topics to compete in an academic contest. These students worked independently to prepare for their events.
